Insulate wooden frame house

    Hi,
I am wondering if i can insulate behind my studded walls with something like rock wool, i know in a wooden frame house there two air gaps one outer between outside wall and membrane which is for air flow but should there also be an air flow on the inner gap between the membrane and plasterboard and if so would i disturb it or cause any dampness issues by putting up some rolled insulation. I know i could replace the plasterboard with kingspan insulated boards but that seems more costly. Any ideas greatly appreciated.
    James.

This is what you should have.from the outside in there should be blocks -air gap-membrane-osb board-frame-membrane.
Between the frames should be filled with insulation.
