    I am interested in completing a distance course in Freelance Journalism. I am looking for something that is properly accredited and I won't be ripped off. Also any good books on the subject worth reading?

    I do not know if they are properly accredited but you might check out

    Yes, we are accredited by the Open and Distance Learning Quality Council and we are also a member of the British Institute for Learning Development. You can find links to both of these organisations on the right.
    I am not sure if you consider that properly accredited or exactly what you mean by properly accredited.

    No offence but there are some who would say if you cannot find a course you lack one of the qualities for being a journalist, i.e research or simply the ability to find things out. Let is know how you get on
