Internal installation

    Bought a mid-70s 3 bed semi.

The house has no insulation other than minimal stuff in the attic.

    Was speaking to these guys:<SNIP>

Government grants mean we would recoup €1550 from their price.

The house also needs extra sockets and lick of paint. The insulation would mean the walls were left ready for painting as well as extra electrical sockets while they were doing the work. They also insulate the attic free of charge.

Can anyone recommend internal insulation or point out any pitfalls?

The one downside I can see is that the area in the room would be reduced slightly (the walls would increase with by 73mm).

Mod edit: please read the forum charter with regards to posting links to a business. Thanks.

I'd also be interested in thoughts on easyboard and/or internal insulation in general...

After viewing the video , i would say the product itself is good personally i can see problems on the installation side of things if all steps arent followed exactly, if i was getting someone to do this they would need to be a neat tidy worker.

i would be interested to see how it compares price wise etc, and how it compares price wise if the electric conduits/plumbing pipe etc add much to the price
