How much is it worth?

Hi folks, planning on buying a house pretty soon so will have to downgrade a bit on the car front to get a deposit together. I have a 2008 grey vw golf gt sport 2.0 tdi 140 with 69,000 miles on it. Just wondering roughly what people reckon its worth? Timing belt change is due but full service history, NCT until January 2014. (Once I sell it I will be looking to buy an older diesel, probably a 2004 accord or something similar)! Thanks, Mark.

    I'll throw a guess in here @ €10000 for a private sale

It's worth far more than €10k. 1.9 comfort lines with 100k miles on them are still fetching €10k.

I would say €12k selling privately. We sold a similar car recently (170TDI DSG) for €14k.

Wow really? Didn't realise they were making that much. I had been thinking of putting it on at €11,500 at first and then dropping if no interest!!
    Thanks for the help!!

Easily 12k, that milage is very low considering

Had my eye on one of these last year and 2008 ones were just too expensive for my budget
