    Hi All,

What is the story recently with all the cops being everywhere?

Every single time i go out i see at least two cop cars driving or sitting along a road, there pulling people over here there and every where.

It's called enforcement. We're seriously not used to it.

Reminds me of a few years back when I was working in Germany. New lad joined us and got accommodation just one stop down the motorway. I asked him the name of the place he was living in, 'Not sure', he answered, 'but it's near Ausfart'!:):D

They seek him here, they seek him there,
    Those "cops" seek him everywhere.

My point exactly.... they seem to be to "proud" to actually talk about it, yet they rather make jokes about my thread.

What are you talking about?

I've noticed an increased presence too. The council have been putting up traffic cameras all over the place too. Spending big before the budget?

Under cover speed vans as well as the marked ones in Kildare, like Newbridge/ Naas area, people don't have a clue till it's too late

It could have something to do with the fact that this year's road death figures are running close to and sometimes over the tally for last year. The current death toll (Sept. 14) is just 5 behind last year.

same thing happened to me but they were fairly rapid in sending out my fine, ever since i constantly look out for oddly parked transit vans haha
