I have quite a thick beard overall, but if I don't shave for a few days I notice a couple of small patches on the side of my face which are hairless. It's somewhat noticeable against the rest of the stubble...

No other solution really, other than being less sensitive about it.0 -
There's nothing you can do but wait. Even then it may not get any better. Some men (myself included) have patchy beards. Sure look at Johnny Depp...
Most beards tend to fill out as you get older. In my case, I've just let it grow and the patches are getting covered over.0 -
