I am applying for my 3rd learners permit. I got my original permit at home in Galway but I am now living in Dublin. Can I renew my permit here in Dublin or do I have to do it in Galway?

I fairly sure you don't have to drive to Galway to renew your LP. But you will have to let them know about your changed address.

Probably the one in Smithfield in the city centre, easiest to get to anyway, I have to renew mine soon so I'm going there. There are three locations though which are all Dublin city council, the other two are in Clondalkin and Ballymun.
