Musicians for Irish Ballad Band

A guitarist looking for people to put together an Irish ballad band. Even a singer and another guitarist or someone who can play a mandolin or banjo or something. I'm happy to go with a 2-3 piece or full band. I used to do it a few years back, I know all the songs, how and where to get gigs etc. I basically can't sing except backing vocals so even if someone can sing and play something that'll do the trick. So if anyones interested drop me a line.
    Cheers
    Dave

I'm 24 and playing guitar about 10 years... Not as good as I should be after 10 years :D, I blame Bob Dylan for my pretty uninspiring repertoire, but I'm a good acoustic player! Looking to get into more trad stuff lately, ballads particularly. I play a bit of piano too.

I don't have any experience playing with others, but I'd like to get into that. I do like to sing a bit, but I wouldn't exactly be front man material!

Anywho... I'm in Terenure at the moment, though I'll be moving back to Tallaght in a couple of weeks' time. I drive though.

Let me know if ye get anything going or what ye think.

Besides the Irish stuff I'm into Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Beach Boys, Led Zeppelin, Mick Flannery...

    Hi

I am a very experienced singer and acoustic guitarist in the area of ballads and trad.

I am in Templeogue near enough to your Harolds X location.

I may be interested but only if you really have easy access to gigs.

Come back to me if you want to swop more info.
