Dell Factory Restore

    Hi,

I have a Dell XPS M1530 and want to reinstall using factory restore. The drive is partitioned and the .wim file is there. When I boot up and press F8 and select the repair option, the laptop just boots normally and does not give me the reintall options.

Is the restore image corrupt? and if so, do i need to format and reinstall manually. If this is my only option can someone give me a guide to the reformat and install. I have the orignal windows Vista and driver discs.

Thanks, appreciate any help you can give.
