Winter Bib Tights?

With the colder days setting in can anyone recommend a decent pair of winter bib tights. I'm not looking for waterproof, just something to keep me warm on longer spins with Roubaix fabric or similar.

I have my eye on dhb super roubaix or these from Campagnolo which are significantly discounted on crc at the moment. Side note: does anyone have any experience with Campagnolo sizing?

Budget does not exceed €100 so that rules out anything by Assos

    Thanks in advance.

I used the dhb Pace Roubaix Padded Bib Tights last winter and found them very good, the padding is a little light but comfort didnt seem to be affected by it on my 45km commutes or my 37km hard training circuit.

DHB super roubaix is fine. I used the unpadded tights with bib shorts last winter on 100 km + and had no complaints, they weathered two laundries per week with no noticeable deterioration. Assos and Rapha are probably better if you have the cash. Campagnolo usually equate to a size down in other brands ( Campag M = DHB small ).

Unfortunately my DHBs wor out very quickly last winter. After only a few wears you could see the underside of the padding coming through. I've never heard of anyone with a similar problem. I still wear them under shorts for MTB and around down. They are super, super warm and I'm just disappointed in the wearing issue, all else about them was A1.

I have xxxxxxx range tights from xxxxxx clothing company. Amazing. Cycled to the south pole with them last year. You might not like them though.

I am a big fan of campagnolo clothing but don't have experience of that particular model. They make top quality products.

Sizing wise i find them the same as other european brands like nalini, giordana and assos.

I'm in the market this year again. Have a pair of Assos padded tights that are perfect size wise on the legs but very tight over the shoulders to the point where I am going to change.

Thanks for the advice. Has anyone experience of Rose Versand bibs like these? The website itself is well regarded and there was a thread on here a while back about it.

You can't beat Prendas for quality and service.

Much less again in my advert.

Thanks but you only have those in small. I have a pair of santini bibs in size medium and they are too small for me - would have to be large.

for what its worth... i use assos bib knickers and santini bib tights...i think the santini shades the assos...but just slightly!! top quality manufacturing

Cheap running tights over nice bib shorts. Add ski socks as required.

This solution makes recession baby jesus gurgle.
