Heard of this happening reasonably local to me in Wicklow (Carrick mtn, Glenealy), so going to give it a go for the first time. I could be gone a while! Its on this morning. Well that was enormous fun. I learned a lot. I was one of the slowest overall times but everyone has to start somewhere. A great hill to bike on too.

You should try it. Its a nice social scene and the organisers were very welcoming to the newbie that was me.

Great event, nice trails, well run & a very friendly bunch.

They are runnin one more mtbo race if anybody is interested. Its on the Curragh, Co Kildare on October 7th.
