    1st episode = Cobra (AC i presume:confused:)

Doubt it's a genuine Cobra. I'd be thinking a kit car.

Not a great selection of cars for this series

    Gardner Douglas AC Cobra
    Jaguar Mk2
    Willy's Jeep
    Nissan Skyline
    Triumph TR6
    BMW Isetta
    Ford Mustang
    Mercedes SLK

Very dissapointing selection , I did think they made a bit of a loss in the last series, I think the down turn in the economy really hit them.

I'd like to see another series where they go to see what some of the classic cars are doing now , I think it was called wheeler dealers revisited

Mike Brewer has said recently that he's working on a new car show again dealing with classics that's not wheeler dealers. He's been up around the Scandinavian countries buying cars the last few weeks.

I wonder could this be the last of wheeler dealers for a while?

Not a great selection but I'll still be watching it.

As long as they stop showing that new Grease Lightning ad I'm happy, Brewer's dancing is giving me nightmares.

Let's be honest, he is the star of Wheeler Dealers.

Mike Brewer comes across as a fool, even moreso than in other TV shows he presents. What gets me is the notion he puts across on camera that he's generated about half the profit made on every car.

it is not to be taken too seriously anyway, if ed was to get paid an hourly rate for his work they would never make a profit

The whole idea is that these things can be done by someone on their own time with their own tools and equipment. That's why they never count in labour.

I know it's a bit much to expect the average weekend mechanic to have the equipment but that's not the point.

Even fatter than last series I'd wager.

Did anyone else enjoy the show more when they were doing genuinely cheap classics and "good enough" repairs?

It seemed far more useful guide for those of us who'd love to have a go at restoring something when they were working off the smaller budgets...

Ha ha, that's something I always wonder, I say he has a fierce weight problem .

Ever see him in "Deals on Wheels"? He's a quarter the size in that as he is now!

What did people think of the show, I have to say I was very dissapointed , it's lost it's appeal to me, I was finding myself fast forwarding parts that I'd recorded on sky plus .

I always liked it because they were cars I could see myself buying one day, the cars on it now most of us would never see never mind buy in our lifetime .

What do the rest of you think ..

I had to laugh at brewer doing donuts in a car he didn't own, with the owner looking on and then ragged in down the runway!!

It was a nice motor though, always liked those cobras.

The result was all a little Hollywood for me re the emissions.

Whilst I like it as entertainment now I used to prefer it as a kind of educational program when they were telling folks what to look out for or how to fix cars people could actually go out and buy and mess about with.

When am I going to need to know how to remove the roll hoops on a kit Cobra ?

I like Brewer - he's annoying but he has a genuine interest in stuff I am interested in and making TV for the likes of me, and I like that.

BTW - Whats wrong with the list of cars for this series ? If they restore special stuff people moan if they go a bit ordinary people moan - can they win ?

I enjoyed it anyhow. Better than Dallas.
