Any good ? Seems a lot of kit for 30k , especially the platinum model .
All the toys but I feel a bit underpowered ?
Called into dealer Monday to enquire about one for jan or a pre reg one now ,surprise , surprise still waiting !

I drove the ix35 with the same engine and it was lively enough.

It's tested against an avensis 2.0 here. While not exactly a class leader, the avensis provides a good reference point

My auld man picked one up a few weeks ago. Nice place to travel, and I thought it was lively enough. And it's hard to beat the amount of toys you get for the money.

Two things I didn't like were the steering and auto box. Steering felt very vague, and the auto box just wasn't as smooth as others I've driven.

Still though, a tempting car for the money. Very tempting.

Manual or auto - what u think?
Prefer auto but road tax gonna hit the €500 mark in the budget and probably slower , harder on fuel and with the tax harder to sell ?

If it was me, I'd go auto. The last auto I drove had the DSG box, so maybe I'm not making the fairest comparison.

Is motor tax really a big issue when spending €30k?
