For the last 2 days it seems to me that the lights as you come from Windy Arbour at Joe Daly's have been set differently. Now only about 5 cars get to go across the road to go towards the Dundrum SC where they are then met by a red light at the pedestrian crossing. This is causing a severe backlog all the way back this road so hopefully it will be changed back to the way it has been for years:(

A tailback stretching back to Clonskeagh Road...Incredible to think NOBODY in DLR/SDCC has managed to be aware of this.....

Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.

What's with the stupid face lark?I just made a comment that the lights have changed and backed up the same road i have been on for the last 7 years at the same time everyday to a ridiculous degree and i don't see the reason,20 mins added on from Bird Avenue to Taney bridge almost--this is obviously another forum not worth posting in.

 I'm actually agreeing with your point,as I've been entombed in the fallout for three evenings this week....surely SOMEBODY in the relevant authorities has noticed...here goes again....

I very much doubt it,as it is most likely the result of some computer generated experimentation spewing from a German or U.S Traffic Modelling programme purchased at some seminar or other in Las Vegas or Limerick or somesuch.

The one thing you can be confident of is that the person/s behind the alteration live in Greystones or some place far removed from Dundrum.

It can be argued,I feel, that much of the vast funding which wes directed towards (now largely empty) Motorway projects should have been first spent on functional answers to the myriad of long running traffic problem spots throughout the City.
