This only seems to happen when im going to bed, but I seem to get pain in my tooth when I lie down.

When I stand up or during the day I feel nothing.

Is this strange or something wrong?

    Yes.
You need to see a dentist

It could be fluid building up in around the tooth area, and could lead to severe toothache, and an abscess, which can lead to blood poisioning if not treated..

Like the other poster said,go to the dentist..

OP there are physiological reasons why teeth with problems hurt more when you lie down. You should see a dentist for an X-ray and vitality test on the tooth. Your dentist will explain the problem and the treatment options.

Christmas, the likelihood of blood poisoning is extremely remote, I know this from being a dentist for almost 20 years and from working in the Oral Surgery departments of two hospitals. Please do not post incorrect information about dental problems and their sequelae of which you have absolutely no knowledge, it misleads the poster and readers.

Seriously Christmas, lay off the blood poisoning talk, it's pretty rare... We get that you are nervous about having teeth out but stop making everyone else nervous too....

Christmas, anymore ridiculous scaremongering and you will b taking a week off.

Everyone gets it, you are terrified of the dentist, however that does not give you to right to try to transfer that terror to other posters.

    Just quick question.

If I got tooth taken out roughly how much should that cost?

My ache has gotten seriously worse last night so going head Wednesday as only day I can go from work.

In the short term and extraction will be cheap (usually 80-150 euro depending on X-rays etc...) in the long term the loss of a tooth can be very expensive with associated bone loss, tipping of the other teeth etc. If at all possible save the tooth, you will have to go on the dentists advice for this. Root canal treatment can salvage even very bad teeth and in the long run will work out cheaper.
