We were having a look at the mock up of the dry stone wall....at around 11:30am this morning

The chap on the trade stand was talking to an older gentleman who was about to commence building work on a new house and he was intersted in the dry stone walling for his boundary walls.

My missus really likes the dry stone walls and how they are built.

Was that you on the trade stand?????:)

PS-We didnt want to interupt the older gentleman while he was chatting away,so sorry for not saying hello.;):)

    A few pics.......

Spoke to Fiann Ó Nualláin ( of RTEs Dermots Secret Garden fame) about our newly resuced ex battery hens, them laying eggs and them growing their feathers back.

Hes a very sound chap who is very passionate about his gardening/veg growing and wildlife too.:)

Lots of renewable energy companies displaying their products.

2 underground rainwater harvesting companies also displaying there....which was nice to see.:)

Also alot of window/door companies there.

And some nice bespoke furniture companies also displaying their furniture too.

About 1.5-2 hours and you would see the entire lot......if you dont want to hang around for the workshops or seminars.

Do you have to print off the tickets or can they just scan the QR code in the email off the phone.

    Thought it was fairly poor.

Was helping a friend on a stand at the one in belfast a couple of years ago and it was huge in comparison with loads more exhibitors.

I've been to these shows the last few year including the ideal homes show. In general I find the content poor, the ideal homes show seems to geared more towards gadgets and gimmicks.
I've been told the self build show in Belfast is supposed to be a lot better.

It was very good - everything from garage doors to hollowcore to full house builders.

Gypsum had a large stand. The guy i was with supplies and manufactures the metal for suspended ceilings and supplies and fits soffits and gutters. To say the stall was busy was an understatement - barely got time to have a cup of tea all day!!
