Hi, I was just wondering has anybody had the same problem. I recently installed a Saorview box and it is working perfectly except when I connect my hard drive to record. If any one has had this problem and can suggest any way t resolve the problem. I would appreciate any help thanks.

Does the hard drive have it's own power supply? The issue may be that it's drawing too much power from the box making it freeze.

    Hi Michaelormonde,

I just read your post and it sparked a quesion. Is it possible to record programmes on saorview using a hard drive connected to the saorview set top box? Is it difficult to set up to record?

Yes it is possible to record on saorview using an external hard drive. You need to format the drive from your computer and when you then connect it to your saorview box you need to perform an upgrade in your settings. this tells the saorview box that it has a hard drive connected.

Hope this is of some help

    regards

    Hi All,
I was just wondering if anyone had experience of the channels changing on their own. I was watching ITV3 on the freeview channels and it repeatedly kept changing to TV3. A bit frustrating. It doesn't jump from TV3 to ITV3 only from ITV3 to TV3. Maybe its to do with the program names.
    Any Answers?

    Appreciating
