I have a return ticket booked from DUB to CDG next weekend. But I will be in London on the day I am due to fly out. Can I abandon the outbound leg and just use the return? I know Ryanair would have no issue with this, but what's the story with EI?

Yep ring them up. They will refund you the taxes based on the one leg and deduct a €20 fee for "Admin"

Ive done it a few times with them, very helpful on the phone. Do stress that you want to keep the return leg though

not correct. If you don't use the outbound, your return will be cancelled and you will be deemed as a no-show.

you need to contact them to cancel the outbound.
