I've been asking alot in here lately so I promise to STFU if someone can answer this for me :)

Can I take 65 credits? It's letting me register for two electives... Will this be an issue in any way?

    Cheers.

You can do it, but you have to clear it with the school office and then pay for the extra module. Each module costs ~€450.

    K...

So, would it be possible to drop a module from one of my main subjects, which would leave me with 50 out of the required 55 credits... So, if I did take the second elective, I'd have 10 elective credits where only 5 are required... Thus, I would only have 60 credits again...?

    Thanks again.

Well, you need to take your core modules, say there's 5 in the year, so that's 25 credits, plus you have to take a minimum amount of "options", which are relevant to your degree (this is displayed on your registration screen, but usually around 5 again at level 2 or whatever), so that's 25 more and then you can take 2 random electives during the year to make up the 60. (I'm going by how my course is structured, each can be different, you may be required to take more or less core or option subjects, I don't know).

But just make sure you have chosen all of your core modules and have taken the minimum amount of relevant "option" credits before taking electives, as if you don't, it will mean you'll have to do them next year (if you're in stage 2) and then would use up your elective spots for next year also.

So basically, yes you could drop a relevant module for an elective, but you will have to do the minimum amount of relevant subjects anyway, so if you take random electives this year, you wont be able to do that next year if you haven't met the minimum required relevant subjects....if that makes any sense.
