    Just wondered f any one has experience of this. saw a free six month trial on a magazine.Apparently the free version only works six hours at a time. Would it slow the pc

    You don't need the Mag, free trial is time, speed and data restriced-->6 Hours, 2MB speed and 1GB data.

    They don't keep logs so one to consider but farrrr from a fair price. These guys are one of the top ones at the minute.

    Thanks I think the one on the mag was unrestricted for 6 months
    Tried the free one but did not like all the ads for the premium flashin g up and it would not connect

    Oh, unrestricted, that'd be alright. What Mag?

    They conveniently left out that the free one was ad supported:rolleyes:, HotSpot Shield when it started out with ads use to be virus ridden, adblocker should get rid of the ads either way.

    There's always Tor aswell.

    What do you want the vpn for?

    just experimenting with it. Would be good to connect to home from a cafe as with hamachi which i installed. If hamachi could be run from a public pc on a usb would the connection from the public pc to its isp be encrypted

    No portable ap that I can find as of yet, though Portable apps seem to be trying for one but, Yup, encrypted.



    Better Forum for that kinda question/stuff if you're looking to dig into it.

    So many ways to intercept Data. Head explodes...
