hi, i am missing both my front teeth. i was expecting to get a double implant, which i am not keen on as at the minute money is tight. went to the dentist who offered an alternative.
basically, he will have 2 teeth made and cement them on to the 2 teeth either side. he says they will be rock solid, and a quicker and cheaper job.
the thing is i am getting married next year and i can always come back in a year of 2 when there is a little more money about and get the implants.
will this job be strong enough?

Without seeing the space, the adjacent teeth,& assessing your bite ect, no one can answer your question really definitively.
Your best bet is to see another dentist for a second opinion.

Sounds like your dentist is offering a maryland bridge as a pretty good medium term sort of reversible solution.

Your other alternatives are a removable denture, or a fixed bridge where the adjacent teeth are filed down.

I would personally go straight to implants. It will cost 4-5000. Why waste money on the maryland bridge now ( which does mess up the adjacent teeth ever so slightly). Your new spouse won't be that happy if you land him/her with a dental bill after the event.

Spend less on the wedding and fix your teeth.simples:)
