Hi, what is it and how did it go for you?

Its i test on trackman, your given 10 distances to hit and it rates you on each yardage and an overall total. You have 6 balls with each yardage. Score was 76%, struggled with 60 and 70 yards and driver. Was great for showing weaknesses though.

Consistent though :) although your report looks different to mine? What did you think of it?

Interesting, really gives the player something to measure improvement against. Where did you get it done? And was it on the range or using an indoor Trackman?

Yeah that's him. Started working with him during the summer on a recommendation from a friend, very good I have to say, helped me a lot. Have you been down to him?

No I havent. He was the pro in Navan Golf Club for a while and I knew him there. Played several times with him. He has a super short game and was developing a reputation as a good teacher before he left to go to the new forrest.

Looks to have continued the trend, I know a few low guys going to him. Seems to do some Trackman work with challenge tour and ladies tour players too from looking at his blog.

Thats good to hear. He's a sound bloke.
I could see he would make a name for himself. Trackman is the way to go for lessons I think. The main man in America for Trackman is a teacher called Brian Manzella. Check out his website if you havent already done so.

I went down to Drive Golf Performance for a TrackMan combine test recently. It was full of great information, very easy to pinpoint weakness and where needs work.

Like most it was wedge distance control for me!! I would recommend Drive Golf Performance. It's run by the Dooley brothers, John and Padraig, both well known in Irish golfing circles and they really know their stuff.

Where is it actually based? Are they in Cork golf club?

Padraig works both at Cork GC and in Riverstown.

No he's correct. I knew he was in Cork golf club but wasn't aware of Riverstown. Where in Riverstown are they?
