    do people starting medicine have to get injections as I already have all my childhood injections ?

    Surely you mean vaccinations?

    The diseases you will be exposed to in public health are different to those that you receive childhood vaccinations for.

    Surely you aren't contemplating an education in health, but are squeamish about injections?

    As a student in the School of Medicine and Medical Science you will have to have a blood test done on your Hep B titers (if you had a Hep B vaccination before) at the very least. You will need a Hep B Vaccination if you never had one.
