I'm a Ltd company but its just me. I'm looking for either good software(free preferably) or a spreadsheet that is easy to use and will keep good neat accounts.

Is it too much to ask for in this day and age. Finding the spreadsheet I have overly complex :)

If you are happy with the spreadsheet, why not simplify it

An Accounts package designed for small businesses would have the advantage of creating up to date reports for you instantly. This saves you time compiling reports and it also means that you have immediate access to your own important data e.g. costs to date, profit & loss report

It would also allow you to create professional invoices which you can post or email.

There are a number of packages out there that will suit a small business and most will offer you a thirty day trial so my advice would be sign up for a few and see what you find you like best. When it comes to ease of use it really is a personal thing so it is worth taking a trial before you buy anything.

Sage One Cashbook or Accounts would be one option. You can sign up for a free trial at www.sageone.ie

I am connected to the company.
