Can anyone recommend a good steam cleaner?

I'd love to get one of these for my mum as she has very severe allergies and she is also very sensitive to chemical cleaners. She is looking for something that would clean the floor (wooden floors) and might have attachments for doing things like the oven and windows, also curtains. Is that WAY too ambitious?:)

    Does anyone have any recommendations?

Another question on the subject is do steam cleaners leave surfaces they've cleaned very wet ? I know nothing about them to be honest.Any help would be enormously appreciated .:o
