    Hi lads

Just a quick question then im out the gap. I have a mk1 ford focus 3 door 2001 and i was wondering what HID mark should i get cause ive the refective light casing for the headlamps. Links to a HID pack would be also handy.

    Thanks lads

The focus doesn't have projector lamps. It'll look rubbish and you'll blind everyone.

As above, your headlights are not designed for HID lights. Apart from blinding everyone they will also be illegal as HID equipped cars have to have self levelling headlights as well as headlight washers.

    Hi all,

I was thinking of getting HIDs in my car, is there anyway of telling if I've got the projector lamps with just looking at the car?

    Its a 2006 Citroen C4 3 door

    Thanks

There is currently a clampdown on the DOE test and HIDs. It is likely it will be carried over to the NCT.

I would ring the DOE center and find out what the criteria is to make sure im not pulling them out in 5 months time.

(Note: Im in Australia so this is second hand information)

I don't think they're projectors, they got them in 2008

I guess these are the projector type head lamps people are talking about.

And if you headlamp unit does not have the part on the left then your car is not suitable for HIDs.

Am I right in saying that??
