I'm trying to remember the names of two quite macabre shows that I have only vague recollections of.

    1) About 2 young brothers. The older one dies and goes to a different land or world. The younger brother then dies (illness?) and joins the older one in the land and they battle with dragons and other adventures. There might have been another further world too. The show might have been scandinavian.

    2) A british show about a family living in an old house covered in creepers and ivy. The youngsters reckon that for the layout of the house and its shape on the outside there must be another room inside. I think they finally find the room by getting through a wall and it is a bedroom with an old redcoat soldier's skeleton lying in the bed. The room had been blocked off years ago.

Good on anyone who can remember these!

I can vaguely remember the second one. Can't remember the name of it.
The house was haunted. Every time the girl played a music box a ghost of a woman would appear. The boys found an ancient army helmet in the garden. It transpires that the Redcoat soldier was badly wounded in battle and the woman put him into bed & he died in that blocked off room

Have no idea of the first one either.

I was going to say the Ghost of Motley Hall as the second one (remember being afraid of it as a child) does anyone remember that programme?
