Looking for two really that will replace the standard aerial feed and not being charged for multiroom. Where is the best place to get them and will the Sky operators that call have a few spare >

You mean to replace the Irish channels from an aerial? A sky box won't get those without a subscription.

If you want free Irish channels, you'll have to go for Saorview or Saorsat. If you have any fairly recent tvs with digital tuners, they may be capable of decoding the Saorview signal & it might only be an issue with your aerial that's preventing this atm.

Can you explain if you are currently paying for Sky in one room, but you have TVs in other rooms that don't have Sky but you would like to watch the channels on these but would rather not pay for multiroom.

If all the above is true then a "remote eye" may be what you need. It allows you to watch whatever channels are on the main (paid) sky box in other rooms without paying anything for multiroom. The catch is every TV must watch the same thing at the same time but you also have the benefit of watching recordings from main box. However all this relies on you paying monthly for one box. Does this apply?
