    Hi

I just recently purchased my first bike, a Specialized Elite 2013 on the bike to work scheme. Went out for my first spin yesterday, skerries through lusk then Rush and back. Really enjoyed it. Hills were difficult.

Anyway just wanted to say thanks as I got some valuable tips \ advice when going reading through these treads and various topics like model bike, pedals, diets etc

    Thanks
    Scalman

PS Got the clipless pedals and yes I did fall !!

It's a great community resource, and that's for sure.

Looked very closely at the Allez Elite myself, enjoy!

I'm about to take the plung with clipless pedals and am thinking of fitting them on my old cloncker for a couple of weeks and taking my falls on that.

You might return the favour info wise - I see James201213 is asking about the 2013 model in another thread http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056754501

    Cheers - Mike

lads the trick with using clipless for the first time is to just use one pedal.what i mean, if you throw your right leg over first then fit the clipless pedal to the right crank, once you get used to your foot being locked into the pedal then fit the other one simples,.;)
