If your mains water pressure is reliable and gives a running pressure of greater than 1.00 bar then you could consider a Triton T80 or a Mira Sport both are mains water fed.
As they do not have any motors in them they are practically silent.
Electric connections are the same and water supply pipe from tank is connected onto mains filling the tank, all very straight forward, but the water pressure is the key element to the change over.

You cannot replace a t90 with a quite shower as its noisey because of what it needs to do.

You can get a power shower and with your store of hot water it should be ok. A company called KMT do a new team power shower and if gravity allows it can be switched to whisper. That way it cant be heard'

But the power shower wont heat the water.

    Choices
T90 Heats water and pumps quite noisey

T80 heats water relies on mains pressure a little quiter.
