Can't understand why Kelly doesn't get it again.

McGrath, Wadding, Gavin and Johnny Ryan will all be in contention no doubt.

AFAIK Kelly cannot get it again by rule. Gavin would, I think, be favourite.

I think the logic is that a ref may become biassed towards some players during a drawn match. For example, a player might a 'disagreement' with the ref during the drawn match. Therefore, the ref might have it in for him in the replay.

There is no actual rule in place, but yes it has always been the policy of the GAA, I think Pat mcEneaney reffed a drawn game and replay once but its not the done thing.

Gavin I think will get it.

Tommy Howard refereed all four Dublin-Meath games in 1991. AFAIK, it used to be that the same referee was used for replays but that has now changed.

I don't think Brian is qualified to be a ref.

John Sexton did U21 AI semi final this year - could be in with a shout - any idea when its being announced? Diarmuid Kirwin is doing the AI U21, so he won't be doing the senior as well.
