We have two flat panels in.
We knew from the beginning that payback of our initial investment wasn't our priority and I'd say it would take 15years.
The convenience of constantly having a tank of hot water without heating or immersion is great. I've seen ours running Christmas week if it's bright. This summer wasn't particularly bright/sunny and we had no shortage of hot water.

anyone able to recommend a good seai approved contractor to install solars in munster. I'm also looking to get the heating controls upgraded and some outside walls dry lined so an all in one contractor would be nice!!!
