Dole back payment?

    I applied for job seekers allowance 7 weeks ago and never heard anything from them. I had a few job interviews this week that I think went well, so I was wondering what would happen if I got a job. If I went and cancelled my claim while it is still pending does that mean I don't get any back payments from the time I was waiting for the Dole?

    If you sign off while your claim is pending and subsequently your claim is granted you will receive all monies due for the time you were unemployed.When you sign off ask them to send you out a cheque.
