    Hi guys,
Basically, I'm trying to fix a friends broadband. Neither his desktop or laptop can connect. I can ping the router and get a reply but can't connect to it in a browser. Weird thing is, using my smartphone I can connect perfectly. His provider is UPC and using the Cisco router. Any idea what the cause could be? Don't see any settings that are obviously wrong and no IP or Mac filters in place.

    Thx.

Ah! In case anyone has a similar problem, McAfee was causing it! Seems some recent update caused havoc!
