Same vases but different makers!

A few years ago I bought a delightful little porcelain floral painted vase with a silver rim at an auction. The hallmarks on the silver are HP&S and the date stamp is for 1919. The porcelain base says "B" and "Made in England".

I am always keeping an eye on auctions and on online auctions and I recently found two identical vases to the one I got a few years back!

So I bought them as they came as a pair. Their date mark is 1920, so a year later. The base also reads "B" and "made in England" but is written differently. The vase I originally had is written in a little circle but these ones are just written straight across in a different font.

What's really baffling me though is the maker's mark in the silver which reads "H&S"! Different maker to the one I had already!! And a different crest!

The painted flowers on the vases are identical to the one I had already. Infact, everything is identical apart from the makers mark in the silver rim and the way the "B" and the "Made in England" in the porcelain is written!!

I'm just curious about this and would be grateful if anyone could shed light on this for me! Thanks!
