Hello tis a long shot but said I would chance it.

We were coming from Dingle back to Killarney last week think it was Tuesday and it was after passing Inch Beach defiantly on the narrow road, i spotted a black and white kitten huddles in the ditch..Stoped the car and went back for him and the poor thing was shaking, had hurt his foot and that. But anywho a loverly young farmer I say as he had wellies and a horse box on the back of his jeep had spotted me and came back to see was all good, and ended up taking the kitten with him..

So just pondering if by any chance his on this was wondering how the kitten got on and the low down as such

He wasnt a farmer but is a lovely guy. Anyway he was with his mother and they took kitty up to the vet. Kitty had was missing most of a leg - very nasty. Anyway they are working on him so fingers crossed.

And no I not the mother!

Hello, oh I am so happy I got a response.. My bad for assuming he was a farmer just noticed the wellies and jeep so as you do.

Glad to hear he is getting good care I would really love to know how he gets on and jas id nearly go to say if he needed a home for him I would come back. Poor kitty I saw his leg alrite but I thought it was maybe he broke his paw as it was all covered over with fur..

Please keep me updated if you can and say thank you very much to the loverly guy. I really wanted to take him but I wasnt familiar with the animal places in killarney and was suppose to be getting a kitten the following week (sounds mean it should not have matter) but anywho thanks for the update..:)

Again im sorry for reviving but tis odd. Was thinking of the kitten the other day and out of pure luck I sent an email to Brendan O 'Connells Vets in Dingle and bingo twas the right place. The lady there told me that the kitten was handed in there, he had to have his leg amputated but he was all good, got a new home with a loverly family..So happy it was a happy ending...
