    Anywhere I could get a watch waterproof tested preferably in Cork?

    I'm not an expert, but my 1st Q is what make?

    Also, did you replace the battery? Normally, whoever replaces the battery should do this - if they can't do it, I'd look elsewhere.

    If it's e.g. a digital sports watch, then I'd try e.g. H Samuel on Patrick St - they've done it for me before.

    If it's a 'good' watch i.e. a recognised brand and worth a bit, then you might be better going to e.g. http://www.watchrepairs.ie

    Their web-site quotes €30 for a new battery and re-seal. You will have to post the watch to them (registered post up to €2K is around €10), so €40 all-in.
