    I used one of them few years ago,the parts on the bike just rusted like mad with it,there prob ok if you put it on the bike when it's dry but if the bike is wet it will rust,Argos had the for €10/€13,I'd never use one again,

    Thanks, I've got no other option as far as I can see.

    Up till now we stored our bikes in an unused office in work. This office is about to become occupied so the mgmt are putting bike racks out at the back of the building.

    Anyway thanks for the advice, I'll look at Argos and see what their covers are like.

    If there are enough cyclists at work and you have the space could you/your employer not install a bike shelter - they are expensive but if there were enough cyclists it may be justified

    yeah there's only 4 of us that cycle
    He got 6 racks.
    No chance of a proper shelter
