This is the history of what is now the Coachman Bar

    The Coachman, 2011, Public House
    Slievenamon Hotel, 1920's, Hotel
    Laurence Tobin, 1911-1935, Grocery/Spirits
    Emily Purcell, 1911, Drapers Shop
    Mary Scanlan, 1901, Provisions

If you use google maps and search for "Coachman Bar,Clonmel" you will get an excellent view of the present day premises.

Ok,this i the history of Russell Court, but I don't think that this was Tobins.

Russell Court, 2011, Arcade of Shops
    Tom Gavin, 1950's, Furniture
Clonmel Cycle Company, 1951, Bicycle Shop
    Burke, Russell & Co., 1920's-1935, Grocery/Spirits

    However,next door is Morans

    Morans, 2011, Public House
    Paddy O'Gorman, 1970's-1980's, Public House
    Mick Moloughney, 1950's-1960's, Public House
Mrs. Ryan, 1940's, Public House [her daughter married Mick Moloughney]
    Patrick Connolly, 1901, Public House
    James Ryan, 1901-1920's, Footwear/Grocer/Spirits

I barely remember Moloughneys but I do remember Paddy O Gormans and he used have boarding rooms upstairs( I think that Morans still do).
If that's not it I'll admit defeat:)
