WTD: Gents Hybrid €200 - €250

My dad surprised me last night asking me to get a bike for him. He is about 5'9/5'10 and is there is no other way to say this overweight. He had a lovely peugrot racer (gold and burgundy) until about 10 years ago when threw it in skip ! (ouch).

Thinking something like a Spesh Sirrus or Giant etc. I dont want his back bent over handlbars, I would rather comfortable riding position so would I be better off getting a 54cm bike - any suggestions ?

It's more of a city bike than a hybrid, so not sure if it's exactly what you want. Seven speed Nexus internal hub, dynamo, full chain guard, that kind of thing.

Nice - solid looking bike - but dont know anything about the internal hub and was hoping for something lighter.
