Hi all I was planning on buying a new laptop for my parents and was wondering what's a good laptop to get them

    Budget is around 300-400 range
mobility is not really an issue
Intended use will mainly be internet browsing email and probably word documents from time to time
My parents are used to using windows so that would be preferable, doubt I could get a mac on that budget haha,
    No warranty

    Thanks in advance :-)

Nothing fancy but this should suffice: Fujitsu 15.6", dual core Pentium CPU, 8 GB RAM, €376 at laptopsdirect.ie.

Although not the current CPU generation, it is still faster than the current Sandy Bridge Celerons for example and memory is plenty.

Some < €400 1st gen Core i3 laptops offered at Argos, but they seem to be out of stock everywhere.
