Hi all, I have a TM L96 AWS. I have it a few years now and just comparing its performance to my CA8-2 it seems to lack in range and accuracy in comparison.

I'm wondering what is the cheapest or easiest way to upgrade or tweak it, any advice would be appreciated?

Tight bore barrel 6.01, 6.02, or 6.03, good quality bb's, and a good soft hop-up rubber.

Would not go near the internals like the trigger assembly, piston and all that unless you travel to England to skirmish and are upping the FPS. Reinforcement of these parts is only needed when your shooting high velocity.

But I would check the o ring on your piston to see if it is worn

True that, I was only on advising him on accuracy upgrades really but general maintenance is also very important when it comes to your rifles performance.
