Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Quintessence Breastfeeding Challenge 29th September 2012

    "The Quintessence Breastfeeding Challenge is an annual event which is staged worldwide to raise public awareness of the need for proper information and support for breastfeeding families and the normalization of breastfeeding in society."


    Friends of Breastfeeding are hosting various venues for the Quintessence Breastfeeding Challenge 2012 again this year.
    Last year there was almost 400 mothers breastfeeding simultaneously at eight different locations around the country, with Dublin and Cork being the top two sites in the world for 2011 with 146 and 145 nursing mums respectively. A great achievement, especially with the low breastfeeding rates in the country.
    2012 will be the third year that this event will take place in Ireland, and the 11th year it will take place globally.
    There are multiple venues around the country, and hopefully it will be a real "family event" as it was last year.
