    Howdy Folks

In an attempt to learn I wanted to look at doing an app for local teams in the Leinster League, seeing as there are plenty out there for everything else. That said it seems to be difficult to get this information as it doesn't seem to be on the Leinster website just the history and latest news !

Am i looking in the wrong place or is there something I am missing ?

Oh and any suggestions would also be welcome.

    Thanks.

Hrmm in last year's Leinster's handbook Des Daly is down as the Honorary Statistician. He might still be working as that, sounds like the person to contact.

Try dropping the branch a mail about it. They'd probably be interested in something along those lines.

Wow very quickly they got back, but I didnt get very far.

from the Media & Communications Manager Peter Breen

"We’re in the process of finalising a brand new domestic App which will incorporate coverage of this league."

I will continue to see if there is a niche that I can do something for. Get the feeling that like their website and it seems very top heavy now with content and wonder if the app is the same .... tried to download their app last night but at 24 mb my phone couldn't take it.

They're all on the leinsterrugby.ie site. Go to the "Domestic Rugby" tab and it's there after a couple of clicks.

Here's the table and fixtures for Div 1A, for example: http://sportsmanager.ie/cake/rugby/leinsterNew/league/52324/division1_a

You can get all fixtures and results for the Leinster League there as well as U21s etc.

can you expand on the path you mention ? I went to domestic rugby kink but "Leinster League News" & "Leinster League History" were all I could find.

Google brought me to the http://sportsmanager.ie site but only found info for the 2011/12 season.

Well the way I normally check them out is:

    leinsterrugby.ie -> Click Enter Site

Then in the top left corner click Domestic Rugby which brings you to: http://www.leinsterrugby.ie/domestic/home.php

Then in the bar below the header there are a few options, hover over Results and Fixtures and click Upcoming Fixtures

This brings you to a fixtures page on the leinsterrugby.ie site. However in the menu bar again on the top left there is an option called "Fixtures Results Tables," hovering over this will open a drop-down and from there you can select carious leagues, for instance "Fixtures Results Tables," "Adult Men," "Leinster League," "Division 1A." That will bring you to the link I gave you above

    Hope that helps

it is a bit of a pain in the ar$e a decent app would be welcomed, drop down menus with 3 or 4 subbranches to get to your section are a bit awkward/dated
