    anyone any tips or past experience getting a stubborn horstmann timeclock in situ,free from backplate without making sh1te of it?the " remove two screws and pull gently from top in an arch motion" is a non runner!!!

    They are extremely stiff. You just have to have faith and pull. It should come off without damage.

    thats only tip of iceberg i still have to try and get a permanent live out to the shed from kitchen but thats a story for another day!!
