Hi I have this Peugeot partner 2004 car only a couple of months, I bought it private , I was gutted sat when it came to a halt , clutch gone!!!!

I've given it to my mechanic who,s a non dealer , he didn't give me a price , but said clutch will cost about 120 and recommended a new one , that's not including work,

Any ideas on what it should cost , and how long it should take.?

    Thanks:confused:

About 150 labour wouldn't be unreasonable, there's nothing too awkward about replacing a clutch in a 1.9 diesel Partner for example.

What type of crap is that? Normally 140 upwards for a DW8 clutch.

Pretty straight foreward job, just that its a pull type clutch is the only awkward part
