Hey, was considering joining this society in the coming weeks :p But I'm wary because while I like Anime/Manga, I'm not completely knowledgeable when it comes to the different anime. In comparison to the others in the society, I'd imagine that I'm quite inexperienced as I have only recently started to get into it properly again. May seem a bit stupid of me to ask this but is it ok to join with very little knowledge of it all?

Should be fine, I only went few times but its largely based around weekly screenings. So you'll probably enjoy them more if you haven't seen them before.

The Anime and Manga society also run Eirtakon, so you'd have opportunities to get involved in that

Yup, in fact joining A&M with very little knowledge is encouraged, as that means more surprises during the weekly screenings :D

Anime and Manga isn't about your knowledge of manga or anime, it's about kicking back and enjoying some good stuff :p AMS usually run just the weekly screenings, but are involved with Eirtakon and every now and then throw together a panel or something!
