prob a bit ahead of ourselves as our daughter is not even 5 months old yet but we are putting her name down for schools in the area and were wondering which educate together would be considered the best?

also, do national schools still insist on the child being roman catholic? or any form of christian for that matter or is that all in the past?

our daughter is not nor will she ever be(unless she chooses) christened.

    thanks

Actually at 5 months old you are NOT at all ahead of yourself in thinking about your daughters future education-in particular, the ET schools enrolment is based on length of time on the waiting list.
You can put your name down for all ET schools and make your decision when she's ready to go to school.
My friends daughter goes to the ET beside Willsbrook/Bewley and she is very happy with it.
As for the Catholic schools, the only one that I have knowledge of is St Thomas (St Patricks parish) opposite Superquinn-the three basic enrolment requirements are: having a sibling in the school, living in the catchment area and being catholic.
Also you can only enrol for ST Thomas-the year before you want your child to start
