Stalingrad 1942

    The Daily Telegraph in their "Britain at War" series have a reprint of their news item of 10.9.1942 regarding the unfolding German assault on Stalingrad.

    Interesting to see the beginnings of this major battle and eventually one of the turning points in WW2.

    I can't find it on their online edition so cannot link it here, but it is an interesting overview of the then situation, based mainly on Russian reports
