A webrip of the pilot is out...

    http://www.fox.com/ben-and-kate/

What happens when an exuberant, irresponsible dreamer who always says “yes” moves in with his overly responsible little sister to help raise her five-year-old daughter? BEN AND KATE, a new single-camera young ensemble comedy, follows these odd-couple siblings as they push each other out of their comfort zones and into real life.

Did a quick browse of some the 5 minute promos of various new shows, and this definitely looked like one of the more promising new comedies. Plus Lucy Punch is great!

Kate is played by Dakota Johnson the daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith

I'm going to give this one a go. Not sure it's something I'd keep watching though.

Second episode was not quite as strong as the first, but it shows promise IMO.

6 more episodes ordered, dunno how big the initial order was but they said itll be a full series, so itll probably end up around the 20-24 mark, i didnt really take to the show at all, but its good news for those sticking around

Only a few minutes into the pilot and already think that this could be a winner. A likeable cast, some great gags and an easy going charm. May never be considered a great show but theres lots to like here.

The show is definitely a winner. Plenty of laughs, a great likable cast and a sweetness that never gets too sugary. Really glad that the show is doing well as after two episodes it's one of the few new comedies that I can see growing into something special.

Jim Rash (aka Dean Pelton in 'Community') co-wrote the same screenplay.

Really liking the show more and more, real nice change of pace in that it mixes sentimentality and over the top ridiculousness to great effect. Also nice seeing Geoff Stults pop up in the latest episode, hope he has a big role over the coming weeks.

Really enjoying the show, it's funny and sweet in equal measure. The cast are immensely likeable, the scripts are strong and best of all it's genuinely funny. Really has been a good year for new comedies, some very strong new shows and some old shows retooled in order to improve them.
